We are very happy to announce, that submission of abstracts and registration for the 2008 Annual SEFI Conference
July 2 - 5 in Aalborg
, is open. We kindly ask you to submit your contribution to SEFI 2008 and share your experiences
and expertise with colleagues from all over the world.

Please visit the conference website http://www.sefi2008.com for submission guidelines. You will also find our exciting
program and further information about our invited experts who will give keynote presentations at the conference. Please
also pay attention to our conference dinner, which will take place under the magnificent tree tops of Denmark’s largest
forest south of Aalborg – be prepared for an untraditional event with lots of local spirit.

Pre-conference activity on PBL
The UNESCO Chair in Problem Based Learning in Engineering Education at Aalborg University organizes the first
Research Symposium on Problem and Project Based Learning in Engineering and Science Education: June 30 - July 1,
2008 at Aalborg University.

The objectives of this first research symposium are:
- to create a community of researchers within PBL and engineering
- to present research projects - whether in an early stage or finalized projects on the effects of PBL in engineering
educations
- to initiate new research projects
- to exchange experiences on PBL

Registration and submission of abstracts for this pre-conference symposium are also able to be loaded from the
