Connecting people, ideas and communities is the theme of the sixth conference in this series, which will be held in the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of the University of São Paulo (Brazil) in February of 2010. This conference challenges participants to reflect on the ways in which Problem-Based Learning and Active Learning Methodologies can improve higher and basic education, produce innovative and interdisciplinary knowledge, and foster the connection of people from different academic, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.
